AI Enablement Specialist - iO Bonzai

iO's ambition is to become the AI Native Marketing & Technology partner of the next decade, and our AI maturity model spells out what that takes: five levels, from Exploring, where AI gets used ad hoc one question at a time, through Structuring, Integrating and Directing, to Orchestrating, where a goal is handed to a multi-agent system.

With 2,000 colleagues, pockets of brilliance get most of the attention. At the same time many people are still at level one or two, and moving them up on purpose is this role. The tooling is in place and actively being developed; making sure it is adopted efficiently in your colleagues' day to day is the real challenge.

What you will do
You have one main KPI: moving the workforce up the ladder, level by level. In practice that means:

• Helping colleagues configure what they are building: assistants scoped to their own work, connectors to the systems they use.

• Train people on campus. The Netherlands and Belgium regularly and structurally, Sweden, Denmark and Bulgaria mostly remotely with the occasional visit.

• Host lunch and learns, on new tools and on what people are still getting wrong with the familiar ones.

• Creating digital training programmes that colleagues can work through without you in the room.

• Answering support questions: which model to pick, why an assistant keeps returning the wrong thing, whether a task is worth automating at all.

• Creating videos for learning and development, short enough that people finish them.

• Acting as the eyes and ears of the product team. You pick up what colleagues keep asking for and keep running into. You make sure this reaches our product manager as signals rather than noise.

• Sparring with Service Line Directors and Chapter Leads on their own adoption material, so each unit can push this further under its own stream.

• Every level a colleague climbs is a step towards iO being an AI Native partner rather than an agency that happens to use AI.

The scope: broader than one platform

A significant part of your work centres on iO Bonzai, our own AI and automation platform. Prompt engineering as a craft rather than trial and error. Building assistants and harnesses so a good result becomes repeatable instead of lucky. And as our product team moves iO Bonzai from chat to work and on to AI team members, getting colleagues to hand real work to an agent and judge what comes back.

But the AI programme is wider than Bonzai. Across iO there are targeted programmes aimed at specific groups, including a national programme for developers focused on coding assistants and AI-augmented workflows. You are not the owner of those programmes, but you support them: contributing learning materials, training content and practical resources that help the leads running them land the message on the ground.

The suite also includes automation tooling for marketers and whatever we adopt next quarter. You are not expected to be the expert in all of it. The specialists in each tool feed you the substance; you turn it into something people can learn from.

• You have trained groups and built learning material that people actually finish, and know when a two-minute clip beats a twenty-page guide.

• A strong command of generative AI and real enthusiasm for it. You work AI native yourself, use these tools daily, and explain their limits as clearly as their strengths.

• You can configure, not only demonstrate: assistants, prompts, connectors, straightforward automations. You do not need to be an engineer.

• You can hold a room of forty people as well as a one to one with a sceptic, and you quietly prefer the sceptic.

• Fluent Dutch and English. Training in the Netherlands and Belgium is in Dutch; English is the team's working language. You travel to both regularly.

  It is an advantage if you:

• Have worked in L&D or as a trainer in a large organisation, and know why good material still goes unused.

• Have built assistants, agents or automations yourself, in iO Bonzai, n8n or something comparable.
